I am on my way to my first area with Elder Munns, he has about 120 lbs. on me. We drive Chevy Colorado's I noticed that our brake lights were out and so went back to get them fixed, I notice things like that! Good thing because the other Elders had forgotten their gas card. We waited for a while in Kayenta, a small little town near Black Mesa. After waiting we decided to go on. Elder Munns is from a Idaho farm and is a great guy. I am looking forward to training with him.
I have been assigned to Page, AZ. I've been there and know that there's a Walmart and a Jack-in-the-BOX!

I left the MTC May 31st at 4am. The flight leaves at 7:15 to PHNX 7:51am then Wait til 8:56 to Durango at 11:16am. Bishop[ sent uncooked Brownie mix, now my luggage is over weight,...What am I supposed to do with these drag them thru 3 airports?
The MTC has been FUN overall. I have been frustrated, but all well guess I heard it was good to be frustrated.
Just pray for the Spirit to be there and be worthy and it will.
Tell everyone, "Hi!" This is my last log from the MTC. So now I go to the land of my fathers' and their fathers' that I may teach wisdom unto them concerning the gospel. Amen:)

Hey Dallan liked your letter it was nice to hear from you hope you got that job:) The MTC is pretty fun.
Don't try to be the best when you get in here, because it's all about the basics and teaching by the Spirit. So work on that stuff little Brother. Don't get offended by anyone! That is why it is hard to teach with my comp he gets angry about teaching and tries to force it. And when I try to teach I can't think of the lesson, because I have trouble studying. All in all I love you brother. Tell me more about what's going on!!! OK?

Hi Mom:) Hope you got my e-mail. It's pretty good here, tough, too. It's so hard to get along with everyone. I want to have the best trainer when I get to New Mexico. Elder Edwards is pretty good.
The food is getting better, but not getting easier on my stomach. I can't find my alarm clock. My camera is still on the blink. Hope it gets better in the field:)

MTC #1
Hey MOM!
First day at the MTC has been long, but pretty fun. Getting my name tag was really cool. My P-day is on Weds, so I won't write you until next Weds. Just so you know :)
I met Elder Hamblin already. He is cool. Can't wait to met his family. (an Elder who is coming to Ogden Mission from NM-FARM mission).
My companion is Elder Edwards. He is like a foot taller. He is a really nice guy. He says "FLIP" a lot! LOL Teachers and leaders are all really nice! Met a really nice Sister from Riverdale. I have had a headache all day. It won't go away!
The food is alright, nothing special.
Miss you guys, but I am not "Homesick", just miss you.
I hope the family will get closer as I serve the Lord. Hope things workout for you and Dallan:) God Be with You til we meet again!

PREP is a pain without help. I want to shop with my SON. All the sudden 2 men who hate to shop want to tag-a-long. I did a lot of leg work today to prepare. JCPenney's looks the best or Missionary Mall or Mr. Mac. Only positive is that Derrek likes to shop when it's for him. I need to have a look at zip-out liner coats.
Went out and got it done! One suit, 3 slacks, 3 shirts, a variety to try. I know we still need waterproof Rockport shoes and socks and the rest of the whites after the Temple. The shoes are $80/pair, (at Famous Footwear) socks that is Dee's speciality. So there ya go. Grandpa can get with him on the whites. I feel happy he has what I needed to go with him to get. He looks real good and he will not be naked. Dad now make sure he doesn't go barefoot.
